~ Valentine's Day ~

Michael and I spent last Saturday night celebrating our Valentine's together.  He took me to see RENT in downtown Sacramento.  It was a great evening to just get away and spend together.  He has been working so much that sometimes you just have to celebrate on days that aren't the actual holiday, so we did!

The kids are fast asleep and I just finished putting together their Valentines Baskets.  Here are a few snap shots of them.  We get to spend part of the day with daddy tomorrow and then he is back off to work.

FLCS Homecoming Banquet

This weekend is Homecoming for Forest Lake Christian School,  We had a great time Friday night watching Dylan play Basketball on the JV Basketball Team.  Dylan then got to go Saturday Night to the FLCS High School Banquet at the Delta King in Sacramento, he brought his girlfriend Kayla and gave her a ring for Valentines early! Ahhhh, young love!

Our Custom has arrived...

So late last year I came across these cute little Waldorf dolls called Bamboletta's. Kaymbria got her first one Leoni for Christmas and in December we got luck and were able to secure what may have been the last of Christian's customs. The lady that makes these dolls is so talented and has a wonderful heart to boot. Each doll is hand made and none are exactly alike. So this Bamboletta thing became a frenzy over Christmas (Oh how I remember the Cabbage Patch Frenzy) and luckily we were able to score one from a sweet friend. Dylan and I were on two seperate computers on the day of Leoni's upload trying to buy her, she was literally sold in seconds (Not to Us) and has become a well loved doll amongst the Bamboletta community. A week after Leoni sold I contacted the mama that had won her and she was so sweet to let Leoni come home with us! Well this doll is like the family now and Bria Brings her everywhere.

In December Christina, the owner of Bamboletta opened up 100 custom slots on her website Bamboletta.com, 100 custom spots sold in less than 5 minutes. We got one and instead of the 15 inch doll like Leoni went for one of the Little Buddies. So here she is "Sammie" with her big sister Leoni. She is going to be Bria birthday gift and I have no idea how I am going to wait until May to give Sammie to Kaymbria.
